Biographies
Shahzad Siddiqui
Shahzad is a Toronto-based lawyer practising corporate law, complex litigation, wills and estates and a burgeoning niche in Islamic finance. He is an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He articled at one of Canada's oldest and largest law firms in Toronto. He subsequently taught international business transactions at Southwest University of Political Science and Law in China and advised Yongfeng, a China-based company on outbound investment into the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Currently, he is an advisor to organizations as diverse as First Global Data Corp., the Islamic Foundation of Toronto Inc. and the Chinese Muslim Association of Canada. He speaks English, Urdu and Mandarin.
Tariq Muinuddin
Tariq practices in the areas of litigation, real estate and wills. He received his LLB from the University of Manitoba where he received the D.H. Thompson QC Prize in International Business Law. Previous to that he received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo where he studied Mathematics and Philosophy. He speaks English, Urdu and Japanese.
Waseem Mohammed
